The National Weather Service is canceling the Wind Chill Warning for parts of Central Indiana that was to expire at 1pm. It’s been immediately replaced by a Wind Chill Advisory lasting until noon tomorrow. The Warning will continue until 1pm today for Lafayette through Frankfort and Kokomo and Anderson over to Muncie. Today’s @indystar video shows some of the morning wind chills across the state. The Wind Chill Warning drops to an Advisory at 1pm today, and goes until Noon Wednesday. All Advisories will then end south of the Indy Metro area.

Here’s an computer analysis of how far south the below-zero temperatures had already traveled by 11am today. A Wind Chill Warning continues for all of Indiana until 7pm Tuesday. The air temperature in Indy went below zero at 2am this morning, and will probably not be positive again until Tuesday afternoon.
