* At 915 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles north of New Albany, moving northeast at 30
mph.
HAZARD…Tornado.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
central Clark and north central Floyd Counties, including the
following locations… Speed, Saint Joseph, Starlight, Carwood,
Clark Siding, Wilson, Bennettsville, Otisco, Memphis, and
Charlestown.
