Another half-inch to an inch of snow is possible during afternoon rush hour, especially Indy northward. Tomorrow morning’s trip will just be cold, starting from overnight lows in the the teens.
The next travel trouble comes Friday afternoon with a chance of snow and sleet. The storm intensifies Friday night, with mainly snow in the northern third of the state, a mix of snow and sleet and freezing rain along the I-70 corridor (yes, it DOES always seem that way) and, unfortunately, mainly freezing rain to the south. Heavy snow is possible in the northern quarter of Indiana Friday night, along with the icing in the middle.
Saturday will be dry, and the car washes will be busy.
