Dog lovers who run will love this upcoming fundraiser in Pendleton’s Falls Park. It’s organized by the Coach Carey Foundation. “Pound the Pavement” takes place Saturday July 16th at 8am. Proceeds from the race support the Coach Carey Foundation scholarship fund. They had 400 participants last year and want more this year. Pound the Pavement offers a 5k Run/Walk PLUS a 1 Mile Fun Run, Stroller Strut and Dog Walk. The entire one mile course takes place on pavement, so the wheels on your strollers can easily go round and round through the streets of Pendleton. Visit their site for more info.
