The temperature at Indianapolis reached 97 degrees just after 4 o’clock Wednesday, which is the warmest so far this year. This temperature is the highest mark since 99 back on July 30, 1999! We were two degrees away from the record high. BTW: The last 100 degree days in Indy were 103 in July and 102 in August in the long, hot summer of 1988. The Heat Index in central Indiana zoomed past 110 at times.
The actual temperature at Evansville reached 102. It was 97 in Bloomington and 98 in Terre Haute. Highs were 92 in Lafayette, 90 in Muncie, 88 in Ft. Wayne, but only 80 in South Bend.

The weatherbug app had the heat indices at 160 today with 100% humidity! How in the world is that possible? Can that even be accurate? I’ve been told it’s had ridiculous indices all week.
Believe it or not Abby…I just found this comment in a stack of old emails. I wish it was still this hot lol. And yes, your Weatherbug App was screwed up:)
