Steve Kerr from Wheeler Mission helps organize their annual Drumstick Dash fundraiser. I’m happy to not only get to run it, but to spread the word about it.
Here’s an update from Steve on the numbers as of last Friday.
We will hit 6,000 pre-registered runners this morning vs. a little over 4,000 last year. In 2008, we registered 3,000 in the six days leading up to Thanksgiving. It’s gonna be big!
And there’s room for more. (There’s always room for more on Thanksgiving!) Join us in Broad Ripple for a fun holiday tradition. Dress warm, and be ready for sprinkles or flurries! Thanks to Cardinal Fitness, the main sponsor, and my personal place of sweat. I’ll be THERE on Friday. Pass the pie.
