Indiana’s Weather For Tuesday

April 18, 2017

Get! Go! Outside! I’ve got this feeling that today is the day. A storm system will hang to the west and northwest today. Here’s the computer-modeled loop from 6am to midnight tonight.

As the system approaches us Wednesday and Thursday there’s a marginal risk for severe weather tomorrow in northern Indiana. There’s a marginal risk in Ohio Thursday.

The front clears the state by Friday morning, ushering in much cooler air this weekend.

Yesterday’s high was 69 in Indy. My forecast was 72.

The average high today is 64 and the average low is 44. Records are 87 (1977) and 19 (1875). The sun rises at 7:03am and sets at 8:27pm.

Today: Sunny and warmer. Southeast wind 5-15 mph. High 77.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Shower and storm chances after midnight. Low 59.

Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy, with scattered showers and storms. High 78.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy. Shower and storm chances after midnight. Low 64.
Thursday: Periods of showers and storms, mainly in the morning. High 73.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy. Low 45.
Friday: Partly sunny. High 60.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy. Chance of showers late. Low 46.
Saturday: Spotty showers likely. High 58.

Saturday Night: Rainy. Low 49.

Sunday: Rainy. High 58.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy. Low 45.

Monday: Partly sunny. High 61.

You think tomorrow a wash out or just scattered? Morning, midday or evening rains?
