Strong storms already formed early Friday in the northern half of Indiana, associated with a push of warmer air northward. Those storms will continue moving northward through the morning, but the entire state will see some scattered storms pop in the afternoon humidity. There may be a little break in the evening, and then storms look likely again overnight as a cold front approaches.
Storms will end northwest to southeast through Saturday morning, and by Saturday afternoon should only be a factor southeast of Indy. No severe weather’s expected for Saturday across Central Indiana.
