The last time I was really stupid at an office Christmas party was 1983. Don’t ask. I went to the Entercom Indianapolis party last night. Entercom is the multi-national super duper conglomerate that runs 107.9 The Track, Newstalk 1430, and Z99.5 in Indianapolis. So the posting is a little late this morning. A good time was had by all, but it was the second extra-cirricular good time of the day. I did a voiceover project in the afternoon, and never got to my nap project in between.
I spoke on the air this morning with Brian Free of 106.9 WXXC about the World Of Napping. When I was in either pre-school or kindergarten I can remember (faintly-everything was in black and white then) that once a day we were given mats, taken to the gym, and told to sleep it off. Back then–not so easy. Now–I wouldn’t even need the mat.
BTW, for weather fans, still looks like an unsettled weekend. But warm enough for just plain rain Saturday, and a little snow on the way out Sunday. I’m holding off on any large grocery purchases myself. OK, maybe some cookies for Santa. And a mat for him to nap on, if he wants.
