Snow will fall on and off Saturday, probably pausing for a bit later Saturday afternoon, maybe mixing with some freezing rain. The heaviest snow will come between Midnight and 7am Sunday, as winds become gusty. Blowing and drifting will be a factor. Snow will end midday Sunday. Final totals will be 8-12 inches across much of Central Indiana. Some places to the north and northeast could see even more. Go here for RTV6’s list of delays and closings.
UPDATE at 9am: Bloomington closing in on 2 inches, Bedford already at 3.
UPDATE at Noon: Sleet and freezing rain are still the x factor with this storm. A mix has already been reported over much of the southern third of the state at times this morning. Brownsburg and Muncie are closing in on 3 inches already. Go here for National Weather Service updates on totals.
