UPDATE: Here is the Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect until 9pm Eastern time:
The Storm Prediction Center has bumped up the severe risk later this afternoon and evening to “slight” for much of the state. The slight risk area is south of a line from Terre Haute through Indy through New Castle. North of that line: a “marginal” risk. Sunshine has taken root in the upgraded area, helping to destabilize the atmosphere…which will also get an upper air kick later today.
