Periods of showers are expected tonight through Wednesday afternoon, although a pause in the precip may happen for awhile Tuesday evening, before the grand finale (and most intense rain) arrives from around Midnight to Noon Wednesday. Final totals should exceed an inch for much of the state. A weekend storm system could bring the first snow of the season, at least in the northern third of the state. I’ll keep an eye on it.
