Another weak wave dives through the state this evening. All snow this time, but not much….less than an inch across central Indiana, especially in the western half of the state. This chart via weatherbell.com models snow totals from now through early next week. Note that these charts typically use a 10:1 ration for moisture:snow, but the cold monster hitting the Northeast tonight and tomorrow will have even higher ratios, and therefore higher snow totals. The event in the Northeast should be a top five snow for places like NYC. Our next chances for precip are mainly rain Thursday, and snow Saturday. The stuff on Thursday could briefly begin and end with some snow mixed in. INDY ALMANAC The average high today is 36 and the average low is 20. Records are 67 and -12.
