Over an inch of snow fell in parts of Wisconsin Friday night into Saturday morning. Chicago saw its third earliest trace of snowfall on record. The average first trace comes on October 30. Records show the earliest arriving September 25. A trace of snow was also reported in Rockford, Illinois, and the Northern Indiana Weather Service office said a few flakes were mixed with rain that fell.
No snow in Central Indiana, but the Weather Service has a Frost Advisory in place for central Indiana from 3-9am Sunday, with their forecast low of 36 for Indy. Mine isn’t much higher — 39 degrees.
