Next weekend the highs will be in the 60s, so take this weather while you can.
Sorry…that was kind of “glass half empty,” wasn’t it? On the other hand: The game-changing, temperature-changing cold front is still five days away. Temperatures will remain above average until then, and we will complete the longest stretch of dry days this year.
The sky today will be go from partly to mostly sunny. You can bring out the classic cars at the James Dean Festival in Fairmount without worry. And if the roof isn’t open today at Lucas, when would it be? (But I don’t predict humans, just weather.)
A weak cold front will move through on Tuesday. It isn’t expected to arrive with moisture, but it should knock the highs back to the mid 70s for a couple of days. (The average high over the next seven days is around 70.)
The cold front arriving late Thursday means business. The chance for showers and storms arrives Thursday afternoon. Rain and storms are likely Thursday evening. The chance for showers and storms will still be around Friday, mainly in the morning. Up to an inch of precipitation is possible.
