By the time you read this I will probably be a little sore. I won’t be able to blame my bad Monumental Marathon performance on the weather. Just the weatherman. Quiet weather today for the annual race in Indy, with some seasonably cold breezes. It should stay dry in the city, by an area of upper level low pressure could still bring sprinkles or a light shower to Kokomo and Muncie and Richmond. The biggest threats are to the north and east of Indianapolis. Otherwise, the dreaded “mix of clouds and sun.” We will tip toward the cloudy side in the early morning, then back to some sun in the middle, and back to some clouds in the afternoon. It all clears out tonight and gives way to a sunny Sunday. Monday looks good also. Our next weather maker brings a rain chance by Tuesday night. Showers are likely Wednesday and they could linger into Thursday morning. At this time: not looking like a major storm. After two weeks of (a) our first freeze (b) our first flakes and (c) a historic Halloween… that’s probably welcome news. INDY ALMANAC: The average high today is 59 and the average low is 40. Records are 78 and 16. The sun rises at 8:15 and it sets at 6:42. Both times are about an hour earlier tomorrow. PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION: Yesterday’s high was 58. My forecast was 57.
