The National Weather Service is extending the Winter Weather Advisory until just after lunch today. Several factors are involved: the possibility of another inch or less of snow today, continuing blowing snow, and the brutal breezes that will keep wind chills below zero.
Lake Effect snows tonight could put down another inch around Kokomo and Peru, with obviously higher totals in northern Indiana closer to South Bend.
