The first big Lake Effect Snow of the season is winding down this morning in Michiana, as winds shift to a more westerly direction and the lessen in intensity. The storm leaves behind a general swath of snow from around 7-12′ in the South Bend metro area. Good news: above average temps by the end of the week, and at least a one week breather before the machine cranks up again.
