Another above-average day to kick off the weekend on Friday, with the added bonus of smaller wind gusts. Temps tank briefly Saturday, before rising again Sunday in front of a front that whips up some more showers. The sun will be strong again, with surface high pressure (shown below) right over the state.
The biggest rain Sunday will start in the afternoon and peak in the evening, with an inch possible south/east of Indy. Some thunder is even possible.
The front will pass quickly overnight into very early Monday morning. Rain will end, and the temp will suddenly shrink to around freezing. It will stay in the 30s all day Monday, and chills will be in the upper teens and 20s with gusty winds.
We might see some snow showers Wednesday, and we may have a shot at accumulating snow *next* weekend!
