More heat and more sun today. A few showers and storms may pop later this afternoon, especially west of Indianapolis and especially after 4pm. Scattered stuff around tonight and Friday. The most widespread rain Friday will be in the afternoon and evening. Up to a half inch of rain might fall at any given spot. Heavy rain may fall in southern Indiana. Nothing severe is expected. A lingering upper wave will be drifting across the lower Ohio and Tennessee Valleys Saturday…with enough moisture and instability available across the region to produce a shower or storm around, especially east and south of Indy. Strong to severe storms may threaten next Tuesday and Wednesday.
