Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.
Wabash River at Riverton.
.Recent rainfall has brought Montezuma back above flood stage this
morning with Hutsonville and Riverton also expected to rise above
flood stage on Tuesday. Numerous rain showers are expected today
before dry weather returns for Tuesday and Wednesday.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.
* WHEN…From Tuesday morning to late Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Old Darwin Road and a few low rural roads
between York and Hutsonville, Illinois begin to flood.
Agricultural flooding begins along portions of the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– There is no current observed data.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 17.0 feet early Friday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Friday
evening.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
