Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana…Illinois…
Tippecanoe River near Delphi.
Wabash River at Terre Haute.
Wildcat Creek near Lafayette.
Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.
Wabash River at Clinton.
Wabash River at Riverton.
.Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to over 3 inches across central Indiana
will bring minor flooding along most of the Wabash basin. Additional
localized heavy rainfall this afternoon and tonight could make
crs higher or extend the flooding. Persons with inters along
area rivers should closely monitor the forecast for updates with
more rain forecast this afternoon and evening.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Wildcat Creek near Lafayette.
* WHEN…From late tonight to late Friday evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:45 AM Tuesday the stage was 7.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tonight to a cr of 12.2 feet Thursday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage Friday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
