Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana…
White River.
Eel River at Bowling Green.
.Rainfall amounts of 1.5 to over 3 inches across central Indiana
will bring minor flooding along most of the White basin. Additional
localized heavy rainfall this afternoon and tonight could make
crs higher or extend the flooding. Persons with inters along
area rivers should closely monitor the forecast for updates with
more rain forecast this afternoon and evening.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant.
* WHEN…From this afternoon to early Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS…At 603.5 feet, Blue Bluff Road just north of Blue Bluff
Bridge has about six inches of water on it.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– There is no current observed data.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a cr of 605.0 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday
afternoon.
– Flood stage is 603.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
