Saint Joseph River Ohio near Newville affecting Defiance, Allen
IN and De Kalb Counties.
For the Tippecanoe River…including Ora, Winamac, Norway Dam…
Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Wabash River…including Linn Grove, Bluffton IN, Wabash,
Logansport…Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Yellow River…including Plymouth, Knox…Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Saint Joseph River Ohio…including Montpelier, Newville,
St. Joe River Ft. Wayne…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Yellow River at Plymouth.
* WHEN…From Wednesday morning to late Friday morning.
* IMPACTS…At 13.5 feet, Some residential and commercial properties
near the Jefferson Street Bridge begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:45 AM Tuesday /8:45 AM CDT Tuesday/ the stage was
10.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a cr of 13.3 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday
morning.
– Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
