Fort Wayne…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Salamonie River at Portland.
* WHEN…Until late tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS…At 14.0 feet, The parking lot of the Portland Water Park
is flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:45 AM Tuesday the stage was 12.6 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:45 AM Tuesday was 12.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a cr of 13.8
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Be ely cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
