Defiance Counties.
For the Little River…including Huntington…Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Salamonie River…including Warren, Portland…Minor
flooding is forecast.
For the Wabash River…including Linn Grove, Bluffton IN, Wabash,
Logansport…Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Eel River…including North Mancher…Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Saint Marys River…including Decatur, St. Mary’s River near
Fort Wayne…Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Tiffin River…including Stryker…Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Little River above Huntington.
* WHEN…Until further notice.
* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Moderate flooding is in progress.
Secondary roads are blocked by flood waters. People in these areas
should move property to higher ground and those near the river
may have to evacuate their homes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM Tuesday the stage was 15.1 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 AM Tuesday was 15.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a cr of 15.8
feet late this afternoon.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Be ely cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
