* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 956 AM , Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms earlier this morning. Minor flooding is ongoing
in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain fell,
with some upstream locations seeing over 3 inches.
– Area creeks and streams are still rising from earlier
rainfall. Additional heavy rainfall this afternoon could
bring additional flooding to lowland areas.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Bloomington, Columbus, Seymour, Bedford, Greensburg, North
Vernon, Brownstown, Nashville, Vernon, Adams, Edinburgh,
Mitchell, Hope, Crothersville, Milford, Wport, Princes
Lakes, Oolitic, Morgantown and Medora.
