* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 927 AM , Doppler radar and observers indicated heavy
rain in earlier thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring
in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3.25 inches of rain have
fallen.
– Many area creeks and streams continue to rise even though
rainfall has moved out momentarily. Additional rainfall over
the same area this afternoon could bring about additional
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Indianapolis, Shelbyville, Greenwood, Franklin, Greenfield,
Martinsville, Mooresville, Rushville, New Whiteland,
Edinburgh, Whiteland, Bargersville, New Paline, Brooklyn,
Princes Lakes, Geneva, Morristown, Trafalgar, St. Paul and
Morgantown.
