Rainfall over the past 48 hours plus additional rain tonight into
Tuesday could result in minor flooding on portions of the
Kishwaukee, Des Plaines, Iroquois, Mazon, and Vermilion Rivers this
week.
This outlook means that elevated water levels and impacts are
possible, but not yet certain. Persons should closely monitor
forecasts including the possibility of flood watches, warnings, and
advisories.
Additional statements, including potential watches or warnings, will
be issued Tuesday morning.
