For the Wabash River…including Linn Grove…Minor flooding is
forecast.
For the Eel River…including North Mancher…Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of
record.
* WHERE…Wabash River near Linn Grove.
* WHEN…From Tuesday afternoon to Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS…At 12.0 feet, The flooding of county roads begin.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:45 PM Monday the stage was 9.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a cr of 12.9 feet Wednesday
evening. It will then fall below flood stage Friday morning.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be ely cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
