.Rainfall amounts of around an inch over the past couple of days,
with some higher amounts upstream, have and are expected to bring
minor lowland flooding to upper and middle portions of the Wabash
through early next week.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Wabash River at Lafayette.
* WHEN…Until Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS…At 12.0 feet, Water may approach a couple low county
roads.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:30 AM Saturday the stage was 11.6 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:30 AM Saturday was 11.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a cr of 12.1
feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage Monday
evening.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
