Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana…
Wabash River at Lafayette.
.Rainfall amounts of one to two inches with locally higher amounts
today and tonight are expected to bring minor lowland flooding to at
least parts of the Wabash River, and at Lafayette on the Wabash by
Friday afternoon. People with inters along the Wabash should
continue to monitor conditions and upcoming forecasts for more
possible warnings downstream in the coming days.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Wabash River at Lafayette.
* WHEN…From Friday afternoon until further notice.
* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Lowland flooding is in progress. Flood
waters near SR 225 between Old SR 25 and Battleground. Warren CR
350 N near Black Rock Preserve and Tippecanoe CR 950 W in the
Wabash Bottoms, Janssen Tract area may be impassable. Fort
Ouiatenon grounds begin to flood. Flooding at the Grandville
Public Access site.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:30 AM Thursday the stage was 5.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a cr of 16.0
feet early Sunday morning.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
