Early morning storms produced frequent lightning, pea-size hail and downpours of rain in Northern Indiana. Lafayette got about a third of an inch of rainfall within an hour. Storms are not expected to reach severe levels today, but will produce lightning, small hail, and big rains at time in Central Indiana.
