At 11:54am today, Indianapolis rose above freezing for the first time since 9:49pm on January 12th. That’s almost 10 days with below freezing temperatures! Tonight we flirt with freezing, and some freezing rain is coming for many locations in Central Indiana. It won’t be a big deal on power lines or limbs, but could cause slippery spots.
Via @NWSIndianapolis: Freezing rain is expected with icy conditions expected by morning. Air temperatures may be slightly above freezing, but ice may still form on sidewalks and untreated roads due to a very cold and frozen ground. If traveling, drive slow and safe!
