The smoky sky you saw yesterday will be back today, rolling down from the northeast, from fires in Quebec. The particles high above will dim the sun, and may thicken any cirrus clouds a bit, but they certainly won’t produce precipitation. It can also enhance the reds in sunrises and sunsets.
The air will be crazy-dry today for June in Indiana, with dew points in the 30s. A cold front passing through Tuesday night may bring a few showers after it passes into Wednesday morning. Coverage will be sparse, much like late Saturday afternoon.
A bigger chance comes Sunday. One model is more bullish on rain, with totals up to an inch in west central Indiana. We can hope!
