Snow will be most intense overnight and Wednesday morning. Do you want to build a snowman? It will be a wet snow. Pack away. The intensity of that snow is expected to overcome surface temperatures that will be near or just above freezing. The snow will diminish quickly in the afternoon, as low pressure pulls away quickly to the northeast into Ohio.
I’m sticking with the ongoing forecast, which is 4-8 inches of snow and sleet over most of central Indiana, with some of that melting in the afternoon. Areas south and southeast of Indy will be more like 3-6 inches.
