September ends with the fifth consecutive below-average day in central Indiana. We get closer to the average over the weekend. You’ll notice a breeze gusting to 25 mph both Saturday and Sunday, but that’s the extent of Hurricane Ian impacts upon central Indiana. Factor in that north wind if you are doing the Ironman in Muncie this weekend. High clouds from the sprawling Ian leftovers will be thickest in the eastern third of the state Saturday.
September was drier than average across central Indiana. We’re not likely to get any more rain here until a few spotty showers Thursday with a cold front.
