The area of drought in central Indiana shrank in this week’s Drought Monitor, but is still present from Indy northwest toward Lafayette, and west over toward Vermillion County.
Probably won’t add much through the weekend, although a locally heavy downpour is possible from afternoon showers or storms.
Our next widespread rain chances come Monday and Tuesday and that will add to the totals.
