Muncie won the hot spot again Thursday, with a high of 93. Most of the rest of central Indiana reached the upper 80s. The toasty temps are in place through the weekend, along with spotty showers and storms. The vast majority of people in central Indiana won’t see the stuff, until the chances begin to increase in the middle of next week.
Rain amounts over the next week should hold under a half-inch, which definitively beats six inches in one week. The weekend wet stuff would be isolated/hit-or-miss…with organized rain and storms holding off until the middle of next week.
The Indy rain total is 7.51 for the month. The average is 3.82 inches. For the year: 29.15 inches, and the average is 21.22 inches.
