The latest Drought Monitor is in this morning, and we are still too dry from Marion over to Muncie and northward. Muncie did record .39″ of rain yesterday, which is not included in this week’s update. Couldn’t hurt. If you happen to get under a scattered shower/storm the next few days there could be heavy rain. Yesterday the Bloomington Airport got hit with an inch and a half, and the Indy Airport measured .66″ of an inch. The precipitation will be more widespread this weekend, especially from late Friday night through Sunday morning as a cold front arrives…and sticks. (Who wouldn’t, with this humidity?) PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION Yesterday’s high was 86 in Indy. My forecast was 90. INDY ALMANAC The average high is 84 and the average low is 65. Records are 99 and 52.
