We’re about halfway through the month, and half the days of the month so far have been below normal. All of those came in the first ten days, with this week bringing back the heat, including the first 90 degree day of the month in Indy. We had 8 such days in June. The biggest thing about today and tomorrow will be the break from humidity. Dew point temps will fall during the day today and stay lower tonight and Saturday. The first chart models dew point at 7am today and the second shows 1pm this afternoon. (Via Weatherbell.) Those dew points drop as a cold front continues sinking southward, as shown in the first map for today. The second map, depicting Sunday morning, shows the muggier, warmer air moving north again as a warm front. Humidity increases during the day Sunday, and much of next week will be hot and humid.
