Attention friends in Madison and Delaware counties. And maybe around Kokomo, Marion, and New Castle. You could see a few sprinkles or a passing light shower this morning.
All of central Indiana will see plenty of puffy cumulus clouds, knit closely together, with winds gusting to 30 mph. It’ll feel like March.
Canadian high pressure will settle over the Ohio Valley tonight and result in a clearing sky and cold temperatures. The record low for Indianapolis for May 15 is 35 degrees…set in 1973. Although the winds will decrease, they should stay active enough to keep frost from forming. So we’ve got that going for us.
WIKIPOTEETIA
The month of May is averaging below normal so far. If that would hold, it would be the first month below normal in Indy since August of last year.
