I have everything under the sun today. Except the sun. There’s a chance of rain and/or snow showers this morning. Rain is likely by midday and the afternoon, and there could even be some thunder. Very cold air in the upper atmosphere will help create that instability. Oh, and the wind will gust to 30 mph. Hang on. I left something out:
A(nother) cold front arrives this afternoon.
Could be a few snow showers behind the front tonight, but the chances drop quickly after sunset.
The latest shot of very cold Canadian air (Blame Canada!) streaming off Lake Michigan could create snow showers or flurries that make it into central Indiana after midnight into Saturday morning. Best chances are north and northeast of Indy as is usually the case with this scenario.
It won’t be as windy Saturday, especially in the afternoon. High pressure promises a quiet Saturday night, before clouds return with shower chances Sunday.
