Indiana’s Weather For Thursday

If this morning’s 1.2 inches of snow is the last of the season at Indy we will end up at almost exactly half the typical total for a season. It’s been a nickle-and-dime season, with no event producing more than 2.2 inches of snow at Indy. That was the Valentines Day snow. (Hardly a Massacre.) Here’s another factoid: after December 2…NO measurable snow the rest of that month. Ho Ho NO.

…Now…what about the rest of Thursday? Not expecting much more, with temps hitting 40 this afternoon. Rain and snow will mix, but much would melt. A separate upper wave will clip the northeast quarter of the state this evening. That could put another half-inch-ish down, if the temps cooperate. That’s the reason for the slightly higher totals north of Muncie over toward Kokomo.
