There was severe weather in the South. Thursday’s high temp of 76 in Indy tied a record from 1975 and 1978. The high was also 76 in Muncie and Shelbyville. All this drama was caused by a cold front now well off to the the East. That will leave us seasonably cold…and dry for the weekend. For Monumental Marathon runners the sky will be partly to mostly sunny. Temps will start around 40 just before sunrise at 7:20 am. It should hit the upper 40s by 10am, and 50 by Noon. Chills will trail by a few degrees, with a northwest wind from 5-10 mph through the morning. Much better than last year’s chills in the 20s. PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION Yesterday’s high was that record-tying 76. My forecast was 73. INDY ALMANAC The average high today is 57 and the average low is 39. Records are 77 and 20.
