The new month starts with a cold shower from Indy southward. Surface temperatures are going to be close. Terre Haute’s airport reported mixed precipitation (I love serving that at Christmas parties) at 6am, with a temp right at 32. Sleet could mix with the rain.
The showers could persist into the afternoon in the southern quarter of the state. Here’s a computer model of radar at Noon today, via weatherbell.com.
See that front to the south of Indy Monday morning?
That’s what arrived last night, dropping the temps and a little bit of rain.
INDY SUNDAY EVENING 7pm: 62 8pm: 51 9pm: 46
Muncie reported .12″ of precip, but most locations logged less than a tenth of an inch. After Monday morning’s shower chance it will be dry until Thursday afternoon. Shower chances will stick through Saturday morning. This will be a rain thing, although there is a chance of mixed precipitation in the northern half of the state Thursday evening.
Last month was the sixth coldest November ever in Indy, and coldest since November 1976. Read more here.
