It hasn’t happened in over a year around here. Ten consecutive days of no rain. We’re just now starting the second half of that streak. Saturday is day number 6.
A large area of surface high pressure dominates the Midwest, and should keep a developing area of low pressure to the south of the Ohio River tomorrow. That could mean a mix of clouds and sun for the state Sunday.
There’s also a significant ridge of high pressure in the upper atomosphere and that won’t break down until the second half of next week, finally allowing a cold front to crash the party. There’s a chance of showers and storms Thursday evening, and then they are likely Friday.
Until then: enjoy perfect tailgating weather for the Butler and Purdue Homecomings. It will be just fine for Dierks Bentley tonight at Klipsch.
