Today’s the first day of (meteorological) Fall where the average Indy high falls out of the 80s. And tonight’s the night (Rod Stewart solid gold) that the sun sets before 8pm. The deck is stacked against us, people!
Thursday’s deck of clouds is still strong as Friday begins, but the sun could still punch a few holes into the inversion, especially in the afternoon.
A quick shot from an upper level wave means more of those clouds tonight, with a chance of showers, mainly in the north half of the state.
That system departs quickly Saturday, and the trend should be for decreasing cloudiness. Sunday should be solidly sunny, with a crisp blue sky and more below normal temperatures.
A cold front Monday should bring a few afternoon and evening showers.
