Just over three inches of rain fell on Indy’s northeast side Wednesday. The Eagle Creek Airpark measured 2.21 inches of rain yesterday. Just under two inches fell at 46th & Illinois, with 2.42 inches falling in Muncie and Marion. The water was two feet deep at one point along I-74 in one stretch in Hendricks County.
A 50 mph wind gust was reported from Hancock County, in McCordsville. Winds gusts toppled some trees in Hendricks County around Lizton, and in Martinsville.
There were no reports of tornadoes in Indiana, despite two different watches, but there five in Ohio, mainly to the northeast of Akron.

The weather now turns cooler and quieter through the weekend. We’ll be fighting clouds Thursday morning, and Friday night, as a weaker wave brings the chance of a few showers. There’s another rain and storm chance Monday afternoon and evening.
