Up to two inches of rain is expected to fall by late tonight, and a Flash Flood Watch is in place for most of Central Indiana from 2pm onward.
Heavy rain is possible in the morning in west central Indiana, including Lafayette. Scattered showers and storms should develop right after morning rush hour today around the Indy metro, and the threat will be us the rest of the day.
A squall line may develop by mid to late afternoon, persisting into early evening, and bringing a threat for severe weather. The most likely severe weather is damaging winds.
